The Origins of Sounos
The name "Sounos" is inspired by the Greek word for "sound" and the Latin root "Sonus," signifying sound and acoustics. It can be broken down into "son," meaning sound, and "os," an abbreviation for operating system. The Chinese name “聲流” (Shēng Liú) derives from the pronunciation of Sounos and the concept of Cymatics, which visualizes sound.
The Essence of Sounos
Sounos represents the fusion of Source, Soul, and Sound, reflecting the interconnectedness of the creator, the soul, and sound. The name embodies symmetry, duality, and the balance of yin and yang. Our logo integrates the letters U and N to symbolize the co-founders, W and V, highlighting their complementary nature.

- S: Represents the Sun, Solar energy, Source, Soul, Spirit, Sound, Sonic, Staying present, Scientific principles.
- O: Stands for oneself (Own), Unity (One), Oneness, Origin, Originality, and the Ocean.
- UN: Denotes Unconditional Love and Light, and the balance of up (connecting to the heavens) and down (grounding to the earth). The artistic combination of W and V also highlights the yin-yang relationship of the co-founders.
- NO: Emphasizes the absence of negative energy, such as no fear, no anger, and no resentment.
